My research expertise spans all regions of the U.S., as well as Norway, Portugal, Canada, Italy, Germany, Ireland, and various areas once part of the German and Russian Empires. I specialize in historically distinct groups including the Doukhobors, Acadians, Sephardic Jews, and others with unique migration and documentation patterns. Projects span from the early 1700s through the modern day—across rural villages, immigration waves, wartime records, and everything in between.
