Bette is a professional genealogist, historian, and living history interpreter dedicated to helping clients discover, understand, and preserve their family stories. She holds degrees in Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Elementary Education, and has completed advanced genealogical studies through nationally recognized institutes. This multidisciplinary background allows her to approach research with analytical precision, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of people and historical context. She specializes in lineage research with particular expertise in German ancestry and complex family connections. As an active member and former registrar for the Daughters of the American Revolution, she has extensive experience helping clients document and prove lineage for heritage societies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to strict documentation standards. Since 1992, she and her husband have been actively involved in historical reenactment and currently coordinate a Revolutionary War–era frontier village in Utah, which provides unique insight into the daily lives and experiences of ancestors.
