About

Genealogist with almost two decades of research experience, specializing in Polish, Pennsylvania, and Iowa ancestry. Inspired by her grandmother Bonnie Dunnuck Glotfelty (1926-2009), an artist and genealogist.

Stephanie Glotfelty offers genealogical research services including transcriptions, editing, and focused research projects. She maintains indexed records of Iwonicz, Podkarpackie, Poland parish registers (1786-1905) compiled by her family and other Iwonicz immigrant descendants. From mid-August through mid-June, she teaches full time and volunteers with the Fairfax Genealogical Society, with limited availability for small projects; greater flexibility available in summer months. She has published 'The life, family, ancestors, and history of John Dunnick' (2013, supplement 2020), documenting a convict transported from London to Baltimore in 1737.
