Genealogist with 35+ years of family history research experience, specializing in genetic genealogy and family tree documentation. Based in Sanford, Florida.
Jon Grubbs has been pursuing genealogy as a hobby since his teenage years, with over 35 years of personal family tree research. He began genetic genealogy in 2013 with an atDNA test at Ancestry, expanding his toolkit in 2017 by testing both parents and his son. In 2020, he and a maternal uncle took Y-111 DNA tests to trace paternal lines. Beyond personal research, he has assisted many others with their family history research. He founded a local Genealogy Club in Sanford, Florida in 2019 and is active in multiple professional societies.
