Professional genealogist specializing in French-Canadian, Acadian, Native American, Scottish ancestry research and heritage travel. Researcher since age 12, professional since 1993.

Judy Nimer Muhn is a professional genealogist and owner of Lineage Journeys, offering genealogy workshops, coaching, and full-service research help. Beginning as a professional genealogist in Europe in 1993, she has lectured at the National Genealogical Society conferences, RootsTech, Federation of Genealogical Societies, and international conferences. She specializes in French-Canadian, Acadian, Native American, Scottish, and Michigan/Ontario/Quebec research. Judy is a board member and chair of the Awards Committee of the National Genealogical Society, President of the Oakland County Genealogical Society, President of the Michigan Genealogical Council, and a founder of the English-Speaking Genealogists of Europe. She has published articles in NGS Magazine and Family Tree Magazine, and conducts extensive research in village archives across Germany, France, Scotland, Quebec, and Ontario.
