Julia A. McAleer has been researching family history for over 18 years and is passionate about helping clients discover their ancestral journeys. She holds a Boston University Genealogical Research Certificate (2018) and is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, New England Association of Professional Genealogists (NEAPG), National Genealogical Society, and New England Historic Genealogical Society. She serves as Vice President of the Connecticut Professional Genealogy Council and Program Chair for the Connecticut Society of Genealogists. She recently completed GenProof Study Group 91 (Spring 2024). Julia offers a range of services including full genealogical and family history reports written to professional standards, hourly research services for specific questions and documentation needs, record retrieval throughout Connecticut and parts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and consultation and instruction to help clients advance their own research.
