Clever Genealogy

Kristina Gow Clever is a Certified Genealogist® and founder of Clever Genealogy in southern Alabama. Her passion for genealogy began with letters from her mother about family research. She has traced her paternal ancestors to Scotland and Norway, and explored her Southern roots through 30+ years of inherited research. Kristina specializes in complex family research projects, DNA evidence analysis, and biological root searches. She manages dozens of DNA kits across all five major testing companies and the GEDmatch database. Her educational background includes the Boston University Certificate in Genealogical Research (OL27), ProGen Study Group (42), and Certification Practicum (2). She participates in advanced courses at the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research, and Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh. She adheres to the Code of Ethics of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the Ethics and Standards adopted by the Board for Certification of Genealogists.
