Patty Campanelli is a professional genealogist with over 22 years of experience in genealogical research. She became interested in genealogy after her father passed away in 2000 and has been a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) for eighteen years, serving as her chapter's registrar since 2007. She specializes in genetic genealogy (DNA) and has worked extensively on adoption and NPE (not parent expected) cases using AncestryDNA since 2017. Patty is particularly skilled at connecting documentary evidence with DNA matches to solve complex genealogical puzzles. She provides family tree building services, lineage society application support, and in-person research services at multiple New Jersey research facilities including the New Jersey State Archives, State Library, Rutgers University, and county courthouses. While she can typically trace lineages back to ancestors' countries of origin, she focuses her research work within the United States.
