Heritage Investigations & Penny's From Heaven

Penny Samek is a professional genealogist and member of the APG operating Heritage Investigations, a genealogical and historical research company. With 25 years of client research experience, she specializes in military records, First Nations genealogy, land records, source citations for authors, and general family history. She has worked extensively in repositories throughout the Ottawa Valley Region and Ontario, and has conducted research in other Canadian provinces, the U.S., and the U.K. She holds Professional Learning Certificates in Genealogical Studies (Methodology, Canadian Records, and English Records). Penny has taught beginner genealogy classes, lectured, and volunteered on gravestone transcription projects. She has served on boards including the Lanark County Genealogical Society, Archives Lanark, and the Lanark & District Museum.
