Robert M. Wilbanks IV is a genealogist and historian with over 35 years of professional genealogy experience. His greatest specialties are American Military records and research, especially the Civil War, along with General American research, Research in the Old South, and Colonial America (notably Colonial Virginia). He also has extensive research experience in Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, and Germany. Beyond client research and consulting, Robert teaches, lectures, has written and published numerous materials, and has organized or served on boards of genealogical and heritage organizations.
