Trish Buben, founder of Stonycreek Genealogy LLC (established 2025), is a ProGen graduate (class 67) who has attended multiple genealogical institutes including GRIP (Walking in Penn's Woods) and IGHR (Beginning DNA for Genealogists). She currently serves as coordinator for ProGen 69. Living outside Pittsburgh, Trish has access to numerous repositories in western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and northern West Virginia. Her personal research focuses strongly on the Stonycreek River's watershed, mainly Cambria and Somerset Counties. She volunteers with the North Hills Genealogists on the newsletter committee and is a member of the Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society.
